Lobster 7/29/21

So these CHEMISTRY GRADUATE STUDENTS had ice cream in a cooler with ice.  Just ice.  And I said to them, “this won’t keep the ice cream frozen; we need to add salt.”  These graduate students listened to me as well as people have listened to me my entire life, meaning, they didn’t.  “It’ll be fine,” these CHEMISTRY GRADUATE STUDENTS said.

Raw Pork 3/27/19

When pork is put into salt, the water is literally drawn out. This force is measurable; it's actually a force, like gravity is a force. The pull of water out of the pork is called "osmotic pressure". Once the water level gets low enough, the water is also pulled out of the bacteria, causing the bacteria to die.
