regardless of the roots, I don’t understand why people fall for it. The individuals are still the ones who have chosen to show up, and for what? The opportunity to drink in a bar instead of at home?
We’ve been so cautious for so long that when the quarantine ends, I expect a mad rush to get out, visit and celebrate our freedom. Unfortunately, without a vaccine or cure, the virus will still be around, and we run the risk of a second wave.
he seems to have lost sight of the weight his words have on his supporters, in this nation and literally around the world. This shortness of vision makes him too cavalier with this words and ideas when honest, humble truth would help so much more.
Unfortunately, in following the “fine” example of our president, while she knew the virus was approaching her state, she also failed to prepare. It’s one thing to say that a state of emergency isn’t warranted yet, and it’s another not to take advantage of the slow approach to put things in place to protect the state before it hits.
I’m sure some readers are thinking that I’m going to upset Trump supporters, and others Trump critics, and all I can say at this point is, yes, I probably will.
Eventually, everybody will have to go out to a grocery store; provisions will run out, emergencies might arise, and when they do I truly hope they realize that for the very brief time that they have to be out, and for the very few encounters with others they will have by necessity are but a fraction of what these brave souls do for us every day
Frequently I would say that there are no problems, only opportunities. Opportunities to learn, opportunities to rise, opportunities to do better. If you are somebody who needs to assign a purpose to everything that happens, I respectfully submit that learning is the purpose of the Coronavirus.
