There are many lessons to be learned from Covid-19, but we’re not looking at the correct ones. It’s an opportunity to look into our own weaknesses and failings, but, of course, too many will argue that we have none or that it's the other party's fault.

even with my credentials, I am still not an expert. The true experts are those with proper credentials AND who have been actively researching Covid. The clinicians, laboratory scientists, biochemists, clinical doctors, they are the experts.

If you work in the medical field, your personal convictions cannot be used as an excuse to harm others, or you just don’t belong in that position.

If I wear my mask, will others assume it’s because I’ve not been, or have even refused to be vaccinated? If I don’t wear a mask, will people assume that it’s because I’ve had my vaccination, or that I’ve never had a vaccination and never wore a mask as a protest?
Accepting the Difficult 12/16/20
The US is flying our big bombers over Iran for escalation of the nuclear stress that we ourselves created, but all we seem to be hearing about is the ever-increasing Covid-19 infections and deaths, and the lawsuits over the election.
Endgame 11/19/20
I’ll miss the students this year, as I have missed all of my students throughout my career. But I’m happy knowing they’re on to bigger and better things.
Boo Day 10/31/20
Halloween has always been my favorite holiday. I think it’s just the concept that you can be anything you want to be, even if it’s only for one night. It’s really kind of sad; we should always be free to be who we want to be. But one evening is better than never at all.
