Spring 3/16/23

Spring has long been my favorite season. It’s a season of rebirth, colors, and a reinvigoration after a season of hiding from the weather. The birds return, the gardens begin to grow.

Easter 4/17/22

Easter is not really about his death. In fact, it’s rather more important than that. Christ promised to return, so, as the story goes, his lifeless body was placed in a cave, the entrance of which was blocked with a great boulder, and guards were placed on it.

Today marks the first Sunday after the first full moon after the first day of Spring. In other words, it’s Easter Sunday.

Tragic Easter 4/12/20

for what it’s worth, I’m proud of my friend, and I’m proud of each and every one of you making sacrifices this year. You are not making these sacrifices for yourself, but rather, to protect others. Jesus didn’t sacrifice for himself; he sacrificed for the sins of others.

Resurrection 4/21/19

I'm going to spend the day continuing of thinking about the myriad of resurrections I have had throughout my life, and count the blessings of my friends who have helped me to rise again through each death I have suffered
