we would go over the block which was also an incline, up the parallel incline hill, and back over a third incline to get to the point that the steep hill would have taken us, but because those hills were less steep, the pathway was faster despite the fact that it was longer.
Heat would be converted into electricity, so that heat would not be available to be absorbed in the house. Or imagine a phone charger that works simply by holding it in your hand and allowing the heat to generate electricity. Or lining the walls around the motor of your electric vehicle so at least some of the heat loss is recaptured to keep the batteries charged.
I don’t really have a point to this post. I just find these kinds of exercises in logic interesting.
There are tricks to staying cool if you don’t have air (and do have an apartment or house, as not everybody does).
I get to the restaurant when I see her. Set up with a folding table and chair, she is sitting at the side of the restaurant with some kind of display. I ask what she’s selling (and secretly hoping it was girl scout cookies)
