I look at women and find them attractive, but I know that they don’t even see me anymore, and if they do, certainly not as a man. I’ve become a doddering old fool, and I know it. Worse than that, I feel it. Deeply. To my core. And it hurts.

You cannot imagine the number of times I’ve been reassured, always by women, that the reason I didn’t have a girlfriend (back then) was because I wasn’t the guy that women want to have fun with, but don’t worry, apparently, I’m the kind of guy they’ll marry.

it’s Christmas Eve. The Christmas season is supposed to be a season of family, of miracles, of happiness, but for me it’s a somber time to reflect.

I "love" getting set up on blind dates, and I really wish I could type in a sarcastic tone. My favorite advice is "just be yourself, but don't tell your jokes, and don't wear your boots, or your hat, but just be yourself, but...less of yourself and more of...what, somebody else, I guess." 'kay.
