I’d rather speak of the original principles on which America was founded based on the Declaration of Independence. No, this letter was never law, but I think it’s prescient.
For my LGBTQ+ friends, I am not one of you, but I am a staunch ally. I love all of you, and weep for your continuing struggle. And if you need anything, I am here for you, and will stand with you in your struggles.
I’m stating my opinion as is my Constitutionally guaranteed right, while they are threatening violence which is illegal in this nation. When voting, I wish more people would think about what the Republican party has done to this nation
RBG’s force was the wind, something that many people don’t even notice, and yet it always blew towards equality of gender and race.
I find it disgusting that we still need evidence lockers for rape victims. I find it offensive that we still have Americans whose rights are being trampled on by excessive force based on the color of their skin. I find it inexcusable that people are still pushing for laws based on the moral code of their religion over the rights of people.
Anybody truly paying attention today should recognize that the Republican Party is simply acting to restrict rights of anybody who is not in their primary demographic, namely white males.
Africans were brought with such a low stature that they were seen as property rather than as humans, and the Native people started out as nothing but savages fighting us for land that we viewed as ours for the taking. For hundreds of years, these AMERICANS have been fighting for their rights, beginning with the basic right to life itself.
We all owe Martin Luther King, Jr. a debt of gratitude for his amazing accomplishments, accomplishments that extends beyond race and touches on the most American sentiment: and Justice for ALL.
