fear is a good thing.  I explained that fear isn’t bad, it just reminds us that there is something new, something with which we are not familiar and need to be alert to.  The only time fear is a bad thing is when we let it stop us from doing that which we want to do.

Failure 11/1/20

Tonight’s failure was one of pride, and self-doubt. I’m sure I should have been able to do better, but I started literally saying “shut up, dad” and “you can do this” at the start of more and more exercises.

We hear messages throughout our lives, and many of these are interpretive. In other words, if we don't hear "I love you" often enough, we begin to interpret that to mean that we are not loved, and not worthy of love.
